We were honored to host the General Consulate of the UAE, his Excellency Jasim Alabdouli and Alexander de Habsbourg-Lorraine, at our office in Lausanne.

Following our success in winning our spot at the Roadshow in the Un incollaboration with Innovaud and the UAE consulate, we were delighted to receive the General Consul himself.

During his visit, we had the privilege to showcase and discuss the impact of our technology on the Green Hydrogen Market, as well as our commitment to sustainability and innovation, which aligns closely with the values of the UAE.

The Emirates has set a commendable objective of becoming a leading global producer of low-carbon hydrogen. However, to achieve their target by 2031 of producing 0.5 million metric tons per annum (mtpa) of green hydrogen, the UAE will need an in-country electrolysis capacity of 8.7 gigawatts (GW) powered by 15.3 GW of photovoltaic (PV) plants.

Additionally, approximately 94 square kilometers of land will be required for these PV plants.

To mitigate this extensive land usage and reduce the financial investment required for PV infrastructure, we are excited to unveil our fully Integrated Photo-Electro-Chemical (PEC) system, known as "ARB". This innovation will:

  • Decrease land usage and the cost per tonne by a factor of two
  • Double the efficiency of converting solar energy to hydrogen

With these advancements, we are well-positioned to make a substantial contribution to the UAE's ambitious goals for green hydrogen production. Simultaneously, we aim to address concerns regarding land usage and financial implications commonly associated with traditional PV systems connected to electrolyzers.

As a result of these fruitful exchanges, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming presence in Dubai at the end of April. We encourage you not to miss this opportunity to meet and engage in discussions about the future of Green Hydrogen.
